A Probe Named Solaris Travelling To The Black Hole Sagittarius A
A probe named Solaris was made virtually indestructible, was launched towards a black hole in the center of the Milky Way ( Sagittarius A ). It was equipped with two clocks, one earth time and one probe time, a video recorder with limitless memory, and the ability to measure radiation and pressures. Solaris began its journey slowly, but as it got closer to the black hole, it accelerated at an ever-increasing rate. The video recorder captured the stars and planets whizzing by in a blur, and the clocks began to tick faster and faster. The radiation and pressures became so intense that the probe's shields began to fail. As Solaris approached the event horizon, the black hole's gravity became so strong that it began to bend the fabric of spacetime. Solaris was stretched and squeezed, but it did not tear apart.
