Donald Trump’s relentless attack on the U.S. justice system has reached a disturbing new chapter. After targeting law firms, lawyers, and private citizens who dared to oppose him, Trump’s administration has now set its sights on a university student exercising his constitutional rights. Mahmoud Khalil, a Palestinian graduate student at Columbia University and a lawful U.S. green card holder married to an American citizen, was arrested without charges or due process after participating in an anti-war demonstration on campus.
