It is not right to eject undocumented Afghans from Pakistan

Pakistan and Afghanistan share a long and complex history, with deep cultural and linguistic ties. The two countries have also been closely intertwined in terms of conflict and displacement. For decades, Pakistan has hosted millions of Afghan refugees, fleeing war and persecution in their homeland.

In recent years, the situation in Afghanistan has deteriorated further, with the Taliban takeover and the ongoing economic crisis. As a result, there has been a new wave of Afghan refugees seeking refuge in Pakistan.

However, the Pakistani government has recently announced plans to eject undocumented Afghan refugees from the country. This decision has been met with widespread condemnation, both from within Pakistan and from the international community.

There are several reasons why it is not right to eject undocumented Afghans from Pakistan.

First, it is important to remember that these are people who have suffered greatly. They have fled their homes, lost their loved ones, and seen their country destroyed by war. To send them back to Afghanistan now, where they face an uncertain future and the possibility of violence, would be cruel and inhumane.

Second, it is important to consider the shared heritage between Pakistan and Afghanistan. The two countries are home to many of the same ethnic groups, and they share a common language and culture. To eject Afghan refugees from Pakistan would be to tear apart families and communities.

Third, it is important to note that the vast majority of undocumented Afghan refugees in Pakistan are law-abiding citizens. They contribute to the Pakistani economy and society, and they pose no threat to national security.

In conclusion, it is not right to eject undocumented Afghans from Pakistan. It would be cruel, inhumane, and counterproductive. The Pakistani government should instead focus on providing these refugees with the support they need to rebuild their lives.

In addition to the above reasons, it is also important to note that the expulsion of undocumented Afghan refugees from Pakistan would have a number of negative consequences.

For example, it would likely lead to an increase in violence and instability in Afghanistan. It would also damage Pakistan's reputation on the world stage.

The Pakistani government should reconsider its decision to eject undocumented Afghan refugees from the country. Instead, it should work with the international community to find a humane and sustainable solution for these refugees.
