TV viewers can fight back against the strike. Here are a few ways to do so

Some 160,000 television and movie actors will join screenwriters who walked off the job in May, setting off the first industrywide shutdown in 63 years.

Viewers can fight back against. Here are a few ways to do so:

- Boycott new TV shows and movies. This is the most obvious way to show your support for the writers. If you don't watch new shows, the studios will lose money, and they'll be more likely to come to an agreement with the writers.
- Spread the word. Talk to your friends and family about the strike, and encourage them to boycott new shows and movies as well.
- Find other ways to entertain yourself. There are many great books, plays, and other forms of entertainment out there that don't involve watching TV or movies. And who knows, you might even discover something new that you enjoy.
- There are many books written by quality authors. Consult the many top seller lists.
- Watch old TV shows and movies. There's a wealth of great entertainment out there that you may have never seen before. This is a great opportunity to catch up on some classics.
Support independent filmmakers. There are many talented filmmakers out there who are not part of the Hollywood system. By supporting their work, you can help to create a more diverse and vibrant entertainment industry
- It's probable that AI-generated content could be better than most of the content that is currently being produced by human writers.
- If you're a writer, actor, or filmmaker, use this time to create your own work. There are many ways to get your work seen, even without the backing of a major studio.
